PROGRAMMING: Beginner's Guide to learn different languages

CODING AND DIFFERENT LANGUAGES

OK!!! So here i am not advertising for any language but would make some recommendations for beginners.To start with,lets discuss the various types of languages that we see around us:

1.Procedural programming

  Ex: C

2.Object oriented programming(OOP)

 Ex:C++,Java

3.Languages used for web designing

 Ex:HTML,CSS,PHP,Javascript

Considering that you are a newbie to PROGRAMMING,you should start your journey with procedural languages like C.You would ask WHY?

So,here are the benefits:

1.Easy to learn.

2.Great for grasping BASICS.

3.Great support(many forums are available for support).

4.You can give enough time on CORE CONCEPTS like FUNCTIONS,POINTERS,etc.

5.Advantage of learning C:Even today when it comes to SPEED,no other language can beat C.Many games 

  that use fast motions like CAR RACING,etc make use of C and much more.

The list is endless.

Then you should start with Object oriented programming.Let us say you start by learning C++.Then first thing that i would say is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! You have just started to learn a great language.Don't BELIEVE ME? Well then listen-Even Facebook makes use of C++ and it needs efficient engineers like you to code for it .Try to know more on this,it's interesting i bet.

                         Now coming to the advantages of object oriented languages,ya you guessed it right - Again the list is ENDLESS.Even though i have tried to mention a few:

1.It models real world well.

2.It's the NEED of the HOUR.

3.Job oriented.

4.Great features to learn and enjoy with.

5.Java-If you learn Java,it's easy,it's great.Just keep updating yourself and you will be on the top.

Enough??????? Well then you may be interested in languages that are used for WEB DEVELOPMENT.

Well!!!May be,may not be.Come on just let it be.

OK!! OK!! Sorry for that boring rhyme scheme in the above line.Truly speaking it all depends on your hard -work.Since i am not as TALENTED as you are i can just show you the way and then you can handle the rest i know. OK!!! Coming directly to the topic,for web development you should have sound knowledge of:

1.HTML(More precisely XHTML)-Hyper text markup language

2.CSS-Cascading style sheets

3.PHP

4. JavaScript

OK!! So here is a short description of the languages stated above.I will give detailed insight to every language later on.

HTML:It will take care of the structure of your website. In-fact having an in-depth knowledge of HTML is a must if you mark your name in the world wide web.And i forgot to tell you that it's very easy.I swear!!!  Just give it a try.

CSS: It is responsible for the appearance of your website i.e. how it looks.If your IMAGINATION rocks,then you can rock your website using CSS. I  hope that was a rocking explanation.

PHP: To gain your attention i would like to tell you- THIS IS THE LANGUAGE BEHIND FACEBOOK'S SUCCESS.Yep,It's true.It will take care of your site's FUNCTIONALITY.In short scratch your head,learn PHP and make your site more functional.

JavaScript-This will take care of HOW RESPONSIVE IS YOUR WEB SITE.Gone are the days when good people used to study all the text in front of them.If today the thing that doesn't INTERACT is called OUTDATED.So make your website responsive so that you can please the visitor.For example if someone adds a comment on your website,then you should make provision for an automated response saying-Thank you for your precious comment.I hope this is very easy and clear.

Ha!! Too much about languages.Now some real tip for you- JUST PRACTICE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND YOU WILL BE THE MASTER OF WHAT EVER YOU WANT.So decide what you want to develop,learn the relevant language,and show the world what you are made of!!!!!ALL THE BEST.
