WHETHER TO CODE OR NOT

WHETHER TO CODE OR NOT?

Yeah!!! This is the feeling that one gets after writing a code for hours and then debugging it for hours and still everything goes in vain.It is really frustrating. It happens with almost every programmer.I am talking about people who really love coding.Even they get hurt when they work so hard and they fail in what they are good at. So,what to do next? Run away!!!!

No!!! But we programmers can't to that.We are made of steel and we will not leave the mission until it is accomplished.Too much boasting, huh??But in the end it's damn frustrating and that's a fact.I have seen people running away from learning a particular language if they find it hard. That's really sad.Anyways but what do the brave programmers do to get out of this frustration.Any idea?

Here are some suggestions:

  • How about a cup of coffee?
  • How about a walk in the garden?
  • How about a sun bath?
  • How about playing on X box?
  • How about watching TV?
There can be many more options. But does it really help? Yes it does!! Many of you must have already using this sort of techniques to get refresh but those who stick to the monitor screen scratching head for hours and ultimately finding a semi-colon as a mistake, its a must for them to take a chill-pill.This is true ,after a break you will certainly do better as compared to doing it in a stretch. The proof of this can be seen in big companies like:
  • Valve
  • Facebook
  • Google
Some of the facilities provided by the companies to make the life of coders better are:

  • Flexible working hours: It means that if you are supposed to work 9 hours a day then you can come any time to the office.Do your work of 9 hours with having breaks if you want and you can go home when you are done.
  • Laundry: Yeah!!! These companies have laundries too for you.
  • Juice bar: Yep!! You can have great and delicious and healthy fruit juices.
  • Gaming room: Are you a gaming freak? No problem!!!! Company will fulfill this wish too.
  • Work from anywhere : You can work from any where in the office i.e. from the juice bar, from the sofa, from the roof. You see? It's so flexible!!!!
  • Work from home: Wow!!!! What a delight!! Yes you can work from home too if you company allows  that.
That's really cool and awesomely flexible. But is everyone employed in Google,Facebook, Valve, Dropbox, etc? No!!! Does every programmer has this kind of lavish coding life?Again No!!! Then what is the conclusion?

The first and foremost thing is to get into these companies to enjoy such a life. But to enjoy afterwards, you have to work hard today. So as a student you have to code till you make it big . And after that a lot of good things can happen. You are smart enough to judge. So keep up the spirit and keep coding.

GOOGLE+ BEATS FACEBOOK IN NUMBER OF USERS

GOOGLE+ BEATS FACEBOOK IN NUMBER OF USERS

Shocked?Don't worry!!!! Its not true. But it caught your attention, right?
But who knows it may or may not be true after some time. That is what i will be discussing today - The future of Facebook and Google+.

Which one of them is your favorite? Is it Facebook? Great!! World agrees with your choice and hence Facebook is the worlds largest social networking site.I am not taking LinkedIn into consideration just because it has less number of users as compared to Facebook and last but not the least it is a professional networking site.

Man is a social animal.More precisely, more of a social animal than a professional animal. The proof is that Facebook has more number of users as compared to LinkedIn.Age is also a major factor for consideration here. But would Facebook be always on top? Well!! Facebook is working hard and you all can see new features like- message goes to others folder if that person is not your friend, changed layout of message box,you can add image while commenting, some of your chat may not be displayed now saying that it was having inappropriate words,I hope you understand what i mean. And i have seen an increase in Facebook's advertising on other sites. As of now Facebook is the king.

What's next? Everything has a saturation point. You can find various proofs in history for this. One of them is listed below:

There was a time when browsers were something that you had to pay for.At that time Netscape was the most famous browser having 90% of the total users. In the initial years Microsoft almost neglected the browser part but when it started concentrating on it,it launched the internet explorer for free( always popular thing to do ).Also Microsoft kept upgrading the browser where as Netscape kept selling the older version only. And soon,Internet explorer had 90% of the total users and the rest is history.

And today the number of Linux users is increasing day by day. Also the people are migrating to other operating systems other than Windows. No doubt that Windows is still the rock star but it has got dents due to this. There are various examples around you too.

Now let us start taking about Google+. Appearance is good, loads faster, etc. But wait!!! What is the most important point? If you are not new to the internet, you would have felt that whenever you use Google products/feature like Blogger,G mail, etc.,you are prompted to join Google+.Ya!!!!! Now that's the point.
You cannot run away from Google. You need it and it has no competition as of now.So if you use one of its product/feature, you may and in fact you will use its other features. For example,Bloggers know the importance of joining Google+ and how much Google promotes it.It is simple- Join Google+ and get more traffic.

So,what is the final result? No doubt Facebook is on the top today but Google has lots of products to offer e.g. search engine,Google drive,Google maps,Google+,Orkut ,Blogger, etc which are more in counts as compared to Facebook's.Also Google has a fleet of great engineers and some real cash.So what will be the future of  networking sites is a burning topic.Well!! The time will tell who sits on the top in the future and let's wait for that time.Whatever will be the result, i hope that with the time to come user experience is bound to get enriched an delighted.

FREE WEB DESIGNING AND CODING SUPPORT

FREE WEB DESIGNING AND CODING SUPPORT

This post is not about concepts but rather for a helping hand.Though i am presently posting on how to make static web pages using HTML for beginners,i want to bridge the gap with the people who already know the whereabouts of HTML or web development. One can not do everything on his own.Larry page doesn't make every software and decision on his own.,he has a dedicated team which works under his guidance. Also his decision is influenced by many other renowned people.Same applies to Mark zuckerberg. Hence every one has to need some support and guidance at various points of time.So if you are in need of something or need any suggestion, feel free to put it up here.I know every one has the internet and the Google but still you may be benefited and your work will be shared.

For example if you are making some school/college project related to coding/web development/computers and you are left with less time but a lot of work is still to be done than this is the place for you.You can share what you want to be done and till when, and you may get your job done within time and meanwhile you can concentrate on other important jobs.Support will be provided not only by me but any one who is master in the context of your problem. And all this will be absolutely free.Even you must be having some specialty,so you can help others in that respect. Not only support but you will also be provided with useful links that you can directly check.Just think that you are busy and there are people sitting freely and googling  for you.Even if you are developing your website and do not want to share your idea with the world then you can get the required job done or at least some sort of support from here.Nothing has a worth until you try it.

You may get support on following topics and the list is bound to increase:

  1. C coding
  2. C++ (C plus plus) coding
  3. Java
  4. HTML
  5. CSS
  6. PHP
  7. JavaScript
  8. Assembly level programming

and much more on demand. So try sharing your load and help others to shed their load.In this way we all can create a healthy community of efficient programmers and coders and who knows we together could some day open a giant company making big name in the global market or at least start some open source project gaining importance in the future and helping man kind.Well!! All will depend on ideas, consistency ,hard work and support for each other.

I hope it was really a HELPING HAND from my side and i do expect the same from you all.Take care.Keep smiling.

DON'T JUST CODE , BECOME A SOLUTION PROVIDER

YOU JUST CODE   BUT    I AM A SOLUTION PROVIDER

What would be your answer if i ask you- Do you code or are you a Solution Provider?

Before you answer let us discuss on it.I can code, you can code,he can code, she can code.It is true that many people can code but who are the ones that are SOLUTION PROVIDERS.By the way what is exactly a solution provider?Let us just forget the coding part and take a simple example:

Consider one of your relatives is shifting to a new place.Obviously packing and moving is going on.Suppose your relative is trying to bring down a heavy cylinder from upstairs and is finding this job to be tough since he is using the steps and the cylinder is really heavy.

If you somehow provide an inclined plane to your relative at this time, you are a SOLUTION PROVIDER.As you have made his job easy and fast and now he needs less effort. How many times have you done that? Many times!!!!! Well then you are already a solution provider.

But now you have to use this quality of yours in coding. You and your company or even in your own business, you may have to work on various projects and many times there will be a jam in the progress of the project. So at that time you should emerge as a SOLUTION PROVIDER  and let the others be merely coders. You will speak, you will lead, you will command and they will just code according to you. That's the    power of a solution provider, that's the respect of a solution provider.

This quality does not depend on your age.You alone can provide a solution to a 60 year old programmer having 30 years of experience. It's all with in you.Think out of the box(but relevant to the context of course) and you will be seen differently as compared to others. You do not get this quality by doing a certification or a personality development course. For this you have to work hard in gaining the DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE and have to keep yourself updated with the new technologies coming in the market. An out dated professional can not survive in today's throat cutting professional life.

MY DOMAIN,MY WEBSITE

HOSTING MY OWN DOAMIN

HOW CAN I HAVE MY OWN WEBSITE

These two topics are on the lips of everyone today. This is for three reasons of course. They are:

1.It's COOL.
2.I want to be FAMOUS.
3.I want to make some MONEY.

And yes!!! Internet is the place where you can earn money with a very LITTLE INVESTMENT or NO INVESTMENT at all.So to start with here are -3 SIMPLE STEPS TO MAKE YOUR WEBSITE UP AND RUNNING.

Step 1- It's very easy and the most important step. When you want your website on the internet you have to buy some space for it.Not happy in spending money? Well!!! Then you can get some space for free too!!When you buy space to host your website,it is called-PAID HOSTING and when you host it for free it is of course called FREE HOSTING.

Naturally the question arises:

What's the difference between paid hosting and free hosting?
Answer-To explain very briefly,i would give pros and cons of both.

 PAID HOSTING

Pros:
  • Unlimited space.
  • Unlimited bandwidth.
  • 100% up time.
  • Automatic backup of websites.
  • More tools to make your task fast and easy.
  • You have your own domain(MOST IMPORTANT).
  • Better chances of search engines finding your website.
  • You can place add as per your wish
Cons:
  • You have to spend MONEY.
  • If you are not an expert, you are simply wasting money.

YOU CALL THAT - CODING ???

YOU CALL THAT -  CODING!!!!!!!

One day one of my friends said i am a better coder as compared to you.I know that hurts and certainly i was hurt too. Then i asked - On what basis can you say that?He replied i have all the 20 practical assignments (Given by our college) on my finger tips and i speak these codes even when i go for a walk in the park or on the roads. And ya!!! Believe me he is very hard working i.e. devotes a lot of time in front of the books. But my heart did not agree to this. And therefore i asked- YOU CALL THAT-CODING????

DON'T MUG UP

DON'T MUG UP!!!

Well if i agree on the CRITERIA my friend told,he is the winner certainly.Because i may be knowing two or three codes but i can explain them, write them any time.I am not boasting but what i am trying to say is that these codes are in my heart for life time now and as far as i know my friend will not be able to reproduce any code after 1 month of exams. But also remember that it will take him only one day to revise all the codes and have them again on his finger tips(Since he had practiced them earlier a lot of times).

PROGRAMMING: Beginner's Guide to learn different languages

CODING AND DIFFERENT LANGUAGES

OK!!! So here i am not advertising for any language but would make some recommendations for beginners. To start with, lets discuss the various types of languages that we see around us:

1.Procedural programming
  Ex: C
2.Object oriented programming(OOP)
 Ex:C++,Java
3.Languages used for web designing
 Ex:HTML,CSS,PHP,Javascript

Considering that you are a newbie to PROGRAMMING,you should start your journey with procedural languages like C.You would ask WHY?

So,here are the benefits:
1.Easy to learn.
2.Great for grasping BASICS.
3.Great support(many forums are available for support).
4.You can give enough time on CORE CONCEPTS like FUNCTIONS,POINTERS,etc.
5.Advantage of learning C:Even today when it comes to SPEED,no other language can beat C.Many games
that use fast motions like CAR RACING,etc make use of C and much more.

The list is endless.

get some code!!!

So you are here to get some code!!!

Well , there are some codes below related to TREE TRAVERSALS,COMPUTER GRAPHICS which may be of some use to you.

You can get codes on:

So you want codes!!!

So you want codes, right?

Here you can get each and every code as per your requirement and if you don't, feel FREE to ask for one.We would make it available for you as soon as possible.

Everyone in this world has to go through a student's life and therefore the codes you get here are easy for a better understanding of STUDENTS.But we guarantee we will not make PROFESSIONALS feel  lonely here.

Enough of chit-chat.Now some codes-

Recursive and non-recursive tree traversals (C++ code):
